Dear all,
It’s spring... a time to let our hearts blossom and share the joys of new beginnings. So this is our first newsletter and we thought it would be nice to write one for each season as a way of letting you know what we are up to.
These past months have been amazing and we thank you all for bringing warmth and beauty to our lives. We so enjoyed meeting and connecting with people at Yarnspinners, International Women, Bangor Literary Journal etc. and of course at our Gentle Peace album launch in Bangor Abbey. Everyone who attended made us feel so loved and cared for and it was a truly special evening. There is a lovely short compilation video of the evening on this Youtube link. Thank you to all who bought or downloaded our album and those of you who are streaming on Spotify. Your support helps us to continue making and sharing music.
Rosie Haghighi's uplifting exhibition at our launch echoed our music with her stunning images. If you didn’t get to see Rosie’s art, she will be exhibiting the full Gentle Peace collection at “An evening in May” Bangor Library and we will be singing a few songs from the album there too.
Many of you have expressed that there is a yearning in our society today for spaces of quietude where we can reconnect with inner stillness. In the light of that, we are starting monthly tranquility evenings where people can come and experience relaxation through music with gentle songs and soothing sounds to quieten the mind.
We will also be performing at various events and are planning to do another full concert in the summer with songs from our Gentle Peace album and some new material. As well as public events we welcome bookings for closed events and if you or your group have a special morning, afternoon or evening in mind, please contact Nad on 07966 448896 and he will be happy to give you further details.
All upcoming events are listed below and they will be regularly updated on our website here.
We look forward to see you and welcome you soon. In the meantime we wish you well-being and gentle peace now and always.
With warmest love,
Inge & Anna
