Maeshine fuses celtic, folk, world and new age genres into a unique sound of their own.
"Renowned for their pure voices and ethereal instruments, Maeshine have a reputation for taking audiences on a heartwarming journey, with lyrics & music that inspire well being." -- The Spectator
Inge Persyn & Anna Smith formed Maeshine in 2018. They released their first album, "Gentle Peace" in 2019 in the prestigious setting of Bangor Abbey where they received a standing ovation. Since then they have performed concerts at FLive Festival, Carnlough Festival, Ballymena Festival of Words, Bangor Abbey Summer Series, Belfast Culture day, Fealty's and also featured at Open House Festival, East Side Arts Festival, Yarnspinners, Bangor Literary journal etc. In addition to their live concerts they also regularly share music for relaxation at various yoga studios.
With their stunning vocals, chimes, singing bowls, gypsy guitars, tambura chord, Rav Vast and lullaby drums this duo is refreshingly original and spellbinding.
